A reception before the reading will get underway at 5:30 p.m.=0D=0AHailing from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Hagy is currently a professor of creative writing at the University of Wyoming.=0D=0ADrawing on traditional folktales and Appalachian history and culture, she crafted a novel that explores migration, pandemic disease and the rise of authoritarianism.=0D=0AAdmission to this event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided by Friends of the Library.=0D=0AThis event is part of the »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Writers Series. Hagy’s talk is funded by grants from ThinkWY Wyoming Humanities and the »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Foundation and a partnership with the Park County Public Library.
