Over the past few weeks, great strides have been made to convert our classes to online delivery, and transition our employees offsite to work from home. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be at the top of all our minds, please know that we are actively monitoring updates from the CDC, state, and county to help us manage this unprecedented situation.
At this time, we do not anticipate a return to normal working operations before the end of the spring semester. Therefore, based on the most recent guidance, we have decided to extend the closure of all campus buildings through May 11 or until further notice. While our campus buildings may be closed to the public, we are open digitally to all—call or email us if you need assistance.
Please see the following reminders and updates:
Academics
1. Classes will resume online April 6th and our goal is for you to finish online and on-time. Faculty have been actively reaching out to students this week, so check your email and make sure you don’t miss any important messages. If you haven’t seen a message from your instructors yet, contact them ASAP. Contact information can be found at .
2. We are enhancing our digital support services to better assist you in this online learning environment. All NWC offices are working hard to adapt to serve you during this time. We’ll also be providing helpful resources via social media for how to prepare yourself for online classwork.
3. Don’t hesitate to ask us for what you need to be successful. Whether it is your instructors or any of our services on campus, let us know how we can help. While our buildings are closed at this time, NWC employees are working from home and stand ready to help you in any way we can. Contact information can be found at /directory/.

2020 Graduation
1. Our previously scheduled graduation ceremony falls within the CDC recommended timeline to cancel or postpone events, so we will not be holding a graduation ceremony on campus May 9.
2. Graduating students, we want to celebrate you! This is a momentous occasion in your lives, so we are working on creative alternatives for graduation. Be on the lookout for future communications about 2020 graduation as we take some time to create something unique and special for you to mark this important occasion.
Take care of yourselves and your family; your health and safety are of the utmost importance.
We know the precautions that we’re taking have caused a major upheaval in your lives; nobody signed up for this. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we find a way through it together.
Finish strong, Trappers!
