POWELL, WYOMING – As part of its larger celebration of International Education Week, the »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Education department is inviting all elementary school students and their families to International Literacy Night on Tuesday, November 19. The free event runs from 6-7:30 p.m. in Hinckley Library on the NWC campus.

Throughout the evening, children in kindergarten through fifth grade along with their families will have the opportunity to meet many of the college’s international students and learn more about their cultures through literacy activities that highlight the different heritages they represent. In addition to receiving intercultural books to take home and share, samples of various international foods will also be available to taste.

The event is a collaboration between NWC Education majors and the college’s international students.
