皇家华人 Giving Day returns for its fourth consecutive year on Thursday, March 21, giving alumni and supporters an opportunity to contribute to the immediate goals and long-term future of the college. This year鈥檚 24-hour giving blitz begins at noon on March 21, and concludes at noon on Friday, March 22.

Once again, donors can choose to give to major projects across campus, such as specific academic or program areas, career and technical education, and Trapper Athletics. Examples include drones for the NWC Agriculture Department; iPads for Education students in the practicum experience; fresh food assistance for TRiO; bikes for Intercultural Programs; an air compressor for the Center for Training and Development; game day enhancements for Trapper Athletics, and much more.

This year, supporters have the opportunity to exponentially increase their impact with matching money and special challenges throughout the day. Funds have been secured for specific matches, as well as 'Challenge Bonuses' for reaching donation milestones.

Along with the opportunity to help fund program specific areas and scholarships, donors can also leave their mark on the new student center which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2024.

Donors can make a gift by giving online at nwcollegefoundation.org/givingday, or by mailing a check to the NWC Foundation.

Since it was first held in 2021, Giving Day has raised nearly $350,000 to support 皇家华人, and last year saw record-breaking numbers with more than 300 individuals donating a total of $137,851. The annual event is coordinated by the 皇家华人 Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which secures and manages private gifts for 皇家华人, supporting student opportunity and enhancing the College鈥檚 educational offerings. Through the Alumni Association, the office also facilitates connections with NWC鈥檚 24,000+ alumni around the world. To learn more, visit nwcollegefoundation.org.
