Complete with live music, food, activities for all ages and more, 皇家华人’s third annual Paint the Town Red event is scheduled to return to Downtown Powell Friday, Aug. 23.
Powell residents of all ages are invited to attend the event and help welcome both new and returning 皇家华人 students to the downtown area.
NWC students will receive dinner tickets for use with food vendors and be encouraged to take part in the festivities in order to get acquainted to Powell, the community and all town has to offer.
This year’s concert kicks off with local artist Josh Westerhold, who will open for country artist Conor Clemmons.
While Clemmons is relatively new to Nashville, the young performer is far from new to the spotlight. After earning the Indieville 2016 Male Solo Artist of the Year award, he received his first invite to play at the CMA fest and debut the single “Top It Off” from the EP on iHeartRadio in South Carolina.
After its release, his album “Left of Center” quickly entered the iTunes charts at No. 15 on the country charts. From college in New York City as a vocal major to traveling the world singing in productions to a five year run as a starring cast member of The Carolina Opry in South Carolina, Clemmons considers the stage and spotlight his second home.
Following is a schedule of activities that will take place throughout this year’s Paint the Town Red event.
